Chiropractor Pike Creek DE Cynthia Crosser

For many years I suffered with acne, constant back pain, difficulty sleeping.....

until I became a chiropractic patient.

Throughout most of my teenage years and into my early twenties, I had difficulty sleeping, acne and was in considerable back pain. I was doing all the "right" things that we still consider good health habits today; exercising on a very consistent basis, eating a well-balanced, healthy diet and taking a multi-vitamin and still wasn't well.

I had taken round after round of antibiotics which included everything from topical to oral and finally weekly injections. It was while under the care of a chiropractor that the story began to change in my early twenties while I was entrenched in another career in the biological sciences. It was a very easy decision to leave the laboratory world and enter into patient care from a more natural perspective. I do believe that I already possessed the inclination towards understanding the body's ability to heal itself, finally saw it work with my own health which created a penchant to make a difference in my world, one patient at a time.

Palmer College of Chiropractic
It was in 1983 that I made the decision to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Within the first week there, I knew that this would be a life altering experience that would change the way I view health and impact the people in my world from that moment forward. It was truly the first time in my life that I was surrounded by so many individuals with the same concept of learning and doing all that we knew we could do to not only get well, stay well, but to live as full and potent a lifestyle we could every day of our lives! What a great inspiration that was that would follow me my entire lifetime and that I could teach my patients!

Practice Philosophy
Our philosophy and mission of for practice is to help our patients to achieve symptom resolution with natural health care options and without side effects as quickly as possible. In addition, we aim to teach our patients how to achieve and maintain optimum health care through healthy lifestyle modifications, chiropractic, yoga, exercise, nutritional consulting , acupuncture, etc. if they so choose. The key consideration is based upon being informed and then choosing what is/are the best options. The personal transformation that patients can achieve with chiropractic and natural healthcare is deeply rewarding as a clinician. We would prefer for our patients to achieve normal physiology prior to considering utilizing drugs or surgical procedures.

A Little About Me
As I recommend to my patients, I receive regular chiropractic adjustments, eat a whole food, organic diet, exercise 5-6 days per week, and take nutritional supplementation to regenerate and rejuvenate my own body. I find it necessary to invest significant effort into daily health habits to offset the effects of our lifestyles and the modern day environment, mentally and physically. This can be achieved and it does take time. Certainly it is worthwhile!!

I am a single parent of three: two daughters ages 32 and 28 and a son age 26. My personal time is spent primarily outdoors, at the gym swimming, in continuing education to assist my patients, or with my family. My favorite things to do are hiking, biking, backpacking, canoeing, and a close second......reading health journals or attending conferences!

Enough about me. Thanks for visiting our website and I look forward to meeting with you face-to-face. Please give our office a call if you feel that you may have a health concern that we can work on together so you can continue living life to the fullest! We can arrange a time to discuss your options.
